Amhara Massacre: Over 16 ethnic Amharas Massacred as protest spreads to Mersa, North Wello, Amhara, Ethiopia

by Mikael A.

“Down down with the regim, down down with TPLF. We denounce the brutal killings of protestors in Woldia, Kobo, Wello, Amhara and all across the country, ” chanted young people in Mersa as they protest against the massacre in Kobo and Woldiya that killed over 60, heavily injured hundreds, and damaged business worth of millions, according to eye witnesses.

The protest in the small town of Mersa didn’t proceed without any cost; Over a dozen have just been murdered today solely because they denounced the extrajudicial killings of over 60 Amharas in less than a week of time, and demanding an end to Tigrian dictatorial regime.

DW-Amharic puts the death toll in Mersa today at 10, acknowledging possible limitation of eye witness imparting only in so far as their personal accounts of their neighborhood is concerned. However, my secondary sources and eye witnesses, insiders at the city security, however, puts the death toll around 16 , iterating the fact that casualties could even get higher as the protest continue.

“Deadly force can’t be the answer to protestors,” said Gedu Andargachew, President of the Amhara regional state , as he addressed the press after the massacre in Woldia the day before yesterday.

Nevertheless, TPLF forces , disguised as a national army, have indiscriminatley been blazing fire at protestors in Mersa throught the day. A Judiciary in Habru Woreda (district), Mersa who was illegally involved in quelling(execution) the protest has taken the lifes of three while crtically injuring four. Subsquentley, desperate protestors have killed the armed judge so as to avoid further massacre.

Heavily armed Tigrian soldiers are reportidley detaining, beating and executing young people in Mersa, according to realtime developments coming from the small town in North Wello.

Tigrian business owners , who are renown for carrying out covert and overt security activity in the town, had evacuated thier properties days a go for a pre-meditated arson sabotage showdown aimed at claiming insurance for their boycotted business which has been under performing in the last two years.

“Everyone has boycotted Tigrain business in town as they are spying us, and leading the repression here in our city. They are in a loss. They wanted to sell their property. But, nobody is interested in visiting in their real estate show time. Arson sabotage seems to be the most revengeful and profitable way out for them,” says Kindu, a real estate agent in North Wello, Amhara, Ethiopia.

Critics are increasingly accusing the international community of standing on the sideline and nurturing tyranny in the midst of a scandal that has drawn little attention compared to minor human rights violations elsewhere. “ US , EU and the international press continue to be reticent so as to hide their friendship with the dictatorial regime,” said Kiros Weldehana, a purchasing manager at the Ethiopian defense forces who recounted American military equipments used against protestors in Mersa.

UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL. The only solution to Ethiopia’s problem is to get rid of the criminal/terrorist/murderous/tyrannical TPLF/EPRDF ASAP by any means necessary and replace them by a democratic, freedom and justice loving government. YOU LIVE BY THE SWORD YOU DIE BY THE SWORD. As a matter of self defense we are going to kill TPLF/EPRDF agents/foot soldiers before they kill any more innocent, patriotic and freedom fighting warrior Ethiopians. Every patriotic and freedom fighting warrior Ethiopians all over the world must try hard to learn how to use few, at least one, weapon. Those in diaspora ought to vision their local shooting range in order to learn how to use weapon. Beside kicking TPLF/EPRDF’s butt hole militarily, we need to do the same economically. IT IS THE ECONOMY STUPID. IT IS THE ECONOMY STUPID.
    1. No patronizing doing business with TPLF/EPRDF, their partners in crime and supporters owned businesses. The business boycott must not be based on ethnicity. If a business owner in Amhara or anywhere in Ethiopia is of Tigray origin and he/she is not a supporter of TPLF/EPRDF and/or unfair beneficiary of TPLF/EPRDF favor, his/her business should not be boycotted.
    2. Since 100% of businesses owned by TPLF/EPRDF and their associates such EFFORT are stolen/looted/illegal they must be destroyed completely. This will deny them MONEY/THEIR GOD and will lead to their expedited demise and destruction. No money means no weapons to kill innocent Ethiopians, no money to build jails to lock up freedom/democracy fighters, no money to buy shit eating Ethiopian prostitutes all over world who are willing sell their soul, spy on Ethiopians opposed to TPLF/EPRDF, invest in criminal businesses such as building illegal houses that have been displacing millions of Ethiopians yearly and making them homeless.

The so-called international community is complicit with the most atrocious TPLF regime terrorizing Ethiopia.
Western powers’ studied negligence of the ongoing spates of massacres raging across the country, is a clear testimony thereof.

Ethiopians will eventually prevail over the Tigrean occupation forces whatever it costs. Tigres have decimated over 5 million lives have already during their 27 years rein of terror. The fascist Tigres will be stopped and stopped soon.

    Sorry champs,
    Typo error,
Those in diaspora ought to vision their local shooting range in order to learn how to use weapon. Please change vision to visit. I believe all patriotic warrior Ethiopians all over the world should be prepared to go to war zone in Ethiopia on the side of freedom fighting, democracy loving Ethiopian warriors. It is no brainier that knowing how to use weapons well will serve you well in the war zone. In addition, we the patriotic warriors in diaspora, are capable of bringing superior weapons with more lethal fire power than the ones used by criminal/devil/terrorist/tyrannical TPLF/EPRDF soldiers.

    Hi All,

I am saddened by the loss of life. However, the politics is getting out of hand to begin with look at the headline of this article: Amhara Massacre? mind you not Ethiopians but we are now being identified by our ethnicity. This is a big problem we must come together and leave this nonsense alone if we want to defeat the current government. In addition, I am really upset how the government hasn’t come to it’s senses by now and try to share power with the opposition this is absurd. I am convinced now there is no rebel group in the world that thinks of the poor once they tighten their grip on power the rest is history all of them are out to profit. May God protect the poor and innocent.
