  1. Sudan and Egypt will do everything in their power so Ethiopia doesn’t interrupt the water flow. Even though the interruption doesn’t bring serious consequence if Ethiopia builds a dam on the Blue Nile , the main issue will be if this is permitted then other East African countries will have nothing to stop them from doing the same on White Nile.

Even if South Sudan , Burundi , Uganda and Tanzania each build hydroelectric dams along on the White Nile, the problem will not just be for only Sudan and Egypt but it will be serious ecosystem damage felt around the world in one way or the other.

Ethiopia didn’t abide by Algiers agreement on the Badme issue and now Ethiopia is swearing up and down saying water flow will not be affected, meaning if water anytime gets affected it will be another strike for Ethiopia. Ethiopia cannot go on like this by not being able to do as agreed so it will be good to live upto the agreement on the Badme issue now, the more time passes with not living to the Algiers agreement the more Ethiopia is being discredited that’s why even Shabiya keeps quiet about Badme Algiers agreement just seeing how long Ethiopia will go on by keeping Badme .

  2. Ethiopia’s world-class roads , railways , bridges and buildings were built with countless sacrifices made by those that built them, same as the GERD dam is being built with so many sacrifices paid by those that are building the dam.

For most these sacrifices are not felt , if you take Gedu Asrat for example he can care less about the sacrifices made to build this MEGA dam, that is why I say he is not fit to be participating in this discussion in regards to the dam.
